Anatomy!

What?
This was my first week of Anatomy! I was nervous about handling real bones because I usually get sick to my stomach easily. I learned, however, that I am just fine around bones. The cadavers may be a different story but for now I am doing great. I am so excited about Anatomy!

So What?
I now feel like there are more future career avenues open to me because I am more fascinated with the body than I ever knew I would be.

Now What?
I am now going to look into graduate programs that are in the medical field! Therapeutic Recreation can be a great degree to prepare one to go into Occupational Therapy!

  1. I like how your personality shines through this simple post. I wonder what it would feel like to be an excavator and be handle bones of Egyptians long past? Being in those tombs would be eerie. Thanks for being one of those willing to take up the medical profession!

  2. I took anatomy a few semesters ago! It really wasn't that terrible of a class. I was really scared going into it because I had heard that it was one of the hardest classes at BYU, but I do not think that was true. I honestly thought that it was one of the most useful classes that I have ever taken. It will be so nice when I take my children into the doctor and they inform me that my child has just broken their fibula and I actually know what they are talking about! Good luck with class! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

  3. Very cool. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to study, and I never really planned on doing anything with computers, much less business. And here I am studying Isys... It really is important to explore and be willing to try new things.
